Psychotherapy, Counselling and Hypnotherapy bring powerful insight into how we think and communicate, so we can make rapid and lasting changes to improve our lives.


Psychotherapy has traditionally been used to help people change long-standing feelings and behaviours, which are seriously damaging their quality of life.

Psychotherapy can be used to help you to:

Constructivist Psychotherapy is based on the assumption that our world is not just given to us complete, but that we construct our individual picture of it from our own experiences.  For example, for a person badly treated, the world may be seen as cruel or unreliable, whereas for one well treated, it may appear a good place. The first task in therapy is to help the client clarify the models they use, consciously or not, to represent the world to themselves.


Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy (NLPt) is based on the principles and processes of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), which was developed in the 1970s by modelling the work of some of the famous therapists of the time.  NLPt is an integrative form of psychotherapy, using and combining many different methods to meet your individual needs and help you achieve the changes you want in your life.


Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is based on scientific principles, where clients and therapists work together to identify and understand problems in terms of the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviour.  The approach usually focuses on difficulties in the here and now, and relies on the therapist and client developing a shared view of the individual's problem.

Hypnotherapy is the use of a relaxed state of mind to address a range of psychological problems.  Hypnotherapy allows the unconscious mind to access its own resources and skills, by occupying the conscious mind with relaxing verbal messages. Deep relaxation, often called the trance state, may be used together with Psychotherapy and Counselling.  Many clients also find self-hypnosis relaxing and empowering and a great stress reliever.


Counselling has traditionally been used to address short-term life issues and help people cope through particularly stressful times.  There is now a much greater overlap between counselling and psychotherapy, with these terms often being used on an interchangeable basis.


Life coaching examines the different roles and activities that you have in your life and how they contribute to your present life pattern.  It then helps you make changes to improve your life balance, well-being and enjoyment.

Career coaching focuses on your career choices and employment income, and helps you to formulate and put in place a plan for your future career.

Financial coaching helps you to:
•    Examine and change your relationship with money
•    Improve your ways of obtaining and spending money
•    Manage your money effectively.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)/Tapping

EFT involves tapping on the body’s energy meridians while using a ‘reminder phrase’ to link the released energy to the problem at hand.  EFT can be used to help with a very wide range of emotional and physical problems.  It can also be used as a powerful self-help technique.

Emo-Trance is based on the approach that painful emotions relate to energy blockages in the body.  We work in a relaxed state to soften these blockages, allowing the negative energies to leave the body and positive energy to flow freely once more.
